       Nowadays, water plays a very important role in various experiments, and water quality often determines the authenticity and repeatability of many experimental results. (1) Overall layout:

New laboratories or old laboratories with renovation needs often face comprehensive challenges from many practical issues such as system design, product selection, management and maintenance when laying out the overall pure water system. The selection of water production module, water storage module, distribution module, pipeline purification and monitoring equipment, and terminal purification module in the entire pure water system involves the understanding of experimental applications, the analysis of laboratory management, and the cost of system investment. Control, operation and maintenance requirements, installation operations and engineering implementation and many other factors, users often involve a lot of energy, but the effect is not very good.

(2) Selection of pipe materials:

(1) The selection of pure water system pipes is very important. The reasons for the pollution of high-purity water are the introduction of external impurities and the dissolution of pollutants contained in various materials in the system.

(2) There are two main reasons for the decline of pure water quality due to the pipe material:

The impure substances in the pipe material are dissolved in the high-purity water, resulting in the increase of anions and cations in the water, the decrease of the resistivity and the increase of TOC [total organic carbon].

Due to the unsmooth inner wall of the pipeline, joints, valves and other reasons, the bacterial retention and reproduction and the accumulation of other particles cause the increase of particles in the water.

(3) In order to reduce the influence of the above unfavorable factors, pipes with low extractability and smooth inner walls should be selected, and the unevenness of joints and pipe fittings should be minimized.

(4) Of course, materials should be selected according to the grade of pure water quality, and attention should be paid to the price of materials, etc., and should be taken into consideration.

(5) Piping classification: According to different materials, high-purity water piping can be mainly divided into two categories: organic piping and stainless steel piping.

The common types of organic piping include polyvinyl chloride (PVC), polypropylene (PP), acrylonitrile-butylene-styrene (ABS), polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) and so on. There is no complete comparative data and reliable test data reports on the impact of organic piping materials on the quality of high-purity water.

(6) Important components of the entire laboratory pure water system:

The pure water transmission and distribution pipeline system is an important part of the whole pure water system. The system delivers the high-quality pure water produced by the central pure water station to each place of use with as little water quality drop as possible. However, due to the high purity of water, it is very easy to be polluted, and the water points are scattered, irregular and vary widely, which brings considerable difficulty to the transportation of pure water with the best possible quality.
