In the process of using the ultrapure water machine, its inlet water temperature is also very important, and it will also have a certain impact on its use effect. When the water temperature is high and exceeds a certain temperature, the membrane pores of reverse osmosis will expand excessively, resulting in irreversible losses. When the water temperature is as low as 25°C, the water output of the RO reverse osmosis membrane decreases by about 3% every time the temperature drops by 1°C. Let's take a closer look at the factors affecting the inlet water temperature of the ultrapure water machine.

1. In case of high water temperature:

The high water temperature has a great impact on the reverse osmosis (RO) membrane of the ultrapure water machine. First, the high water temperature will reduce the desalination rate of the reverse osmosis membrane system, and the regeneration cycle of the subsequent desalination equipment will also be shortened at the same time. When the water temperature exceeds a certain temperature, the membrane pores of reverse osmosis will expand excessively, resulting in irreversible losses. Not only that, in the case of high water temperature, bacteria are very easy to reproduce and grow, and the increase of water temperature will increase the metabolic rate and growth rate of bacteria accordingly. Once bacteria enter the RO system, they can quickly form a biofilm layer on the surface of the RO membrane, resulting in a rapid decline in the water production and desalination rate of the RO system, and at the same time the water is polluted.

2. In case of low water temperature:

When the temperature is 25℃, the water production of the reverse osmosis membrane is normal. Generally, when the temperature drops by 1℃, the water production of the RO reverse osmosis membrane will decrease by about 3%. When the water temperature is lower than 5℃, the RO membrane will stop. Water is produced, so the temperature will have a great influence on the water production of reverse osmosis.

The above are the main reasons that affect the inlet water temperature of the ultrapure water machine. Only by understanding these main reasons can users deal with the problem in time when there is a problem with the inlet water temperature.
