The application of laboratory water purifiers is more and more extensive, because laboratory water can be divided into first-class water, and the resistance requirement is greater than 10MΩ.cm (conductivity is lower than 0.1us/cm), mainly used for analysis with strict requirements tests, including those required for particles. In order to ensure the quality of the water produced by the laboratory water purifier, the user needs to understand its entry-level operation skills before use, so as to improve the user's own operation ability. Let's talk about it in detail.
The operation method of the laboratory water purifier:
1. Turn on the machine, open the water inlet valve, plug in the power plug, turn on the power switch, and the machine starts to make water.
2. To take water, if you need to take RO reverse osmosis water or UP ultrapure water, press the "1" and "2" water intake buttons on the three-speed electric water intake button to open the water outlet. (When matching the level water tank, the ball valve from the side of the machine to the water tank should be closed, otherwise all the water will flow out from the side)
3. Standby, in the power-on state, if you do not use pure water, put the three-speed electric water intake button to the "O" position, and the RO water produced by the machine will be transported to the pressure bucket until the bucket is full and the system will stop. At this time The waste water stops flowing out and enters the standby state. In this state, open any water intake valve to take water, and the machine will automatically restart to produce pure water. In this cycle, the required pure water is continuously produced.
4. Shut down, pull out the power plug, and close the water inlet valve.
5. Exhaust the air in the terminal filter, unscrew the round bolt of the exhaust port on the side of the terminal filter, and open the UP water outlet. When the ultrapure water flows out, the air inside the machine will be exhausted through this exhaust port, and wait until the ultrapure water flows out. When the final filter is basically full, then tighten the round bolts.
Note: Air is not excluded, the final filter may not produce pure water due to air resistance, and the machine will stop working due to high pressure.
Daily maintenance of laboratory water purifier:
1. When not in use for a long time or before get off work, be sure to turn off the power of the water purifier and cut off the tap water supply to avoid accidents.
2. When installed and used for the first time, after the manufactured bucket of RO water is full, it should be discharged through the RO water outlet.
3. If the water purifier is not used for a long time, it may cause bacterial proliferation and contamination inside the machine, resulting in a decrease in the exchange capacity of the purification column. In principle, the water purifier should be filled with water at least once every 7-10 days to make the system run and drain the water accumulated inside to prevent microbial contamination.
4. Do not place the water storage bucket in direct sunlight, the water temperature will rise, which will easily cause the reproduction of microorganisms.
5. When the pure water is not used for a long time, all the RO water in the pressure water bucket should be drained to prevent pollution.
The above is the operation method and daily maintenance of the laboratory water purifier. I hope it can help you use the equipment better.
