What impurities in water can be filtered by using a small ultrapure water machine?

Release time:2020-07-16    Views:2104

The small ultra-pure water machine is combined with new foreign water treatment technologies, and the water quality of the effluent fully meets the water requirements. At present, it is widely used in chemistry, biology, pharmacy, medicine, microelectronics, semiconductor, chromatographic analysis, cell culture, protein purification, molecular biology and other fields. In order for the novice to use the device better, the user needs to have a certain understanding of the impurities in the water that it can filter. Let's talk about it in detail.

Impurities in water that can be filtered by a small ultra-pure water machine:

1. Particulate matter: including sediment, rust, algae, suspended solids and other visible particulate impurities. These particles are often suspended in the water stream, making the water cloudy. These particles are very unstable and can be removed by precipitation and filtration.

2. Colloidal substances: Colloidal substances are substances that are larger than ionic substances and smaller than particulate substances. Colloids are collections of many molecules and ions. Colloidal substances cannot be removed by self-settling by gravity. Generally, chemicals are added to water to destroy their stability, and the colloids can be removed by sedimentation. Colloidal substances may be present in either surface water or groundwater.

3. Ionic substances: including cations and anions. Ionic species are usually soluble in water and can be removed by methods such as ion exchange or desalination.

4. Non-reactive dissolved gases: Non-reactive dissolved gases refer to gases that do not chemically react with water, such as nitrogen, to generate compounds that introduce ionic pollutants into water and affect the pH of water.

5. Reactive dissolved gases: Common dissolved gases in natural water include oxygen, carbon dioxide, and sometimes hydrogen sulfide and ammonia. Most of these gases dissolved in water are corrosive to metals.
