The ultra-pure water machine adopts pretreatment, reverse osmosis technology, ultra-purification treatment and post-treatment methods to almost completely remove the conductive medium in the water, and remove the non-dissociated colloidal substances, gases and organic substances in the water to a very low level. water treatment equipment. In winter, the weather is cold and the temperature is low, which also has a certain impact on the operation of the ultrapure water machine. Therefore, antifreeze measures should be done well. Let's share some antifreeze experience.
1. Don't panic when the water production drops:
The normal working temperature is 5~45℃, of which 25℃ is more suitable. In many cases, the water production of the equipment is also marked according to the standard water production of the reverse osmosis system at the inlet water temperature of 25 °C. As the temperature decreases, the viscosity of water increases and the diffusivity decreases. The water output of the equipment decreases and the waste water flow increases. Under normal circumstances, when the temperature drops by 1°C, the water production of the equipment will drop by 3%, and it will be reduced to half of the water production in summer. Xiaobian hereby reminds everyone that there is no need to worry too much when the water production decreases as the temperature decreases. Once the temperature rises, the situation will greatly ease until it returns to normal.
2. How to prevent freezing at night:
In winter, the temperature is low, and the operating temperature of the equipment must be higher than 0 °C. At night, when there is less water and the temperature is further lowered, the residual moisture in the pipes is very easy to freeze. It is recommended to close the water valve in time, drain the water in the system, keep the surface of the instrument dry, and prevent pipeline rupture and filter element damage caused by freezing. If the device is used outdoors, it is very susceptible to freezing due to heavy humidity and low temperature. It is recommended that you wrap the fuselage with thermal insulation materials while closing the water valve to isolate the cold air and reduce the probability of freezing.
3. What to do when the water is cut off:
When the water temperature changes from cold to warm or from warm to cold, the plumbing is prone to problems. Once the water pipe bursts, or other emergencies cause water outage, be sure to close the water inlet ball valve in time and stop the ultrapure water equipment. After troubleshooting the normal water supply, in order to avoid impurities such as sediment, rust and other impurities mixed in the construction process to block the filter element and affect the water production, it is recommended to open the faucet first to drain the impurities, and then open the water inlet ball valve to use the equipment.
4. Equipment freezing treatment:
If the ultrapure water machine is accidentally frozen, it must be placed indoors (temperature higher than 10°C) to thaw naturally for 2 days. During this period, do not turn on the water forcibly, otherwise it is very easy to cause equipment damage. Before putting into use, thoroughly inspect the inside and outside of the equipment for signs of frost cracking. After confirming that there is no problem, it can be powered on. It is recommended to drain the prepared bucket of water. If you find any faults such as water leakage, please contact the manufacturer in time, and professional and technical personnel will handle it.
5. What to do if it is not used for a long time:
If it coincides with a long holiday or is not used for a long time, the water inlet valve must be closed to discharge all the water in the system, and then turn off the power. When using it again, first check whether the appearance of the device is abnormal, and then power on and use it after confirming that it is normal. It is recommended to drain the bucket of water at the beginning of the preparation.
