Talk about the concentrated water shut-off valve of the ultrapure water machine

Release time:2020-04-23    Views:2096

    The ultrapure water machine is based on reverse osmosis technology, adding ion exchange and terminal treatment technology. Some also have deep ion desalination, ultrafiltration and UV photooxidation equipment, and the water quality is better than the water quality requirements of the national standard GB/T6682-2008 laboratory water quality. The ultrapure water machine is to remove these impurities as thoroughly as possible. At present, the commonly used process methods for water purification include distillation, reverse osmosis, ion exchange, filtration, adsorption, and ultraviolet oxidation. The ultrapure water machine can generally divide the purification process of water into 4 major steps, pretreatment (primary purification), reverse osmosis (to produce pure water), ion exchange (to produce 18.2MΩ.cm ultrapure water) and Terminal treatment (to produce ultrapure water that meets special requirements). In order to give you a better understanding of this product, let's take a closer look at its concentrated water shut-off valve.

1. We can think that the RO membrane system is mainly composed of three major components: membrane shell, membrane module and water pump, but we should not ignore the important concentrated water valve, which is also an important means for the system to form working pressure and determines the recovery of the system. important equipment components of the rate;

2. When the concentrated water components are all opened, the working pressure of the system is the sum of the pressure drop of the components and the pressure drop of the pipeline. This state is generally only used for membrane hydraulic cleaning and chemical cleaning. At this time, the flow of pure water will generally be lower. The wastewater flow is large and the working pressure is very low;

3. When the concentrated water valve is all closed, the working pressure and flow of the system can be increased to a larger value, but there is no flow of wastewater at all. However, this state will cause rapid and serious pollution of RO components. We call this state full-flow filtration. No matter what state the system is in, it is strictly forbidden to fully close the concentrated water valve;

4. We half-open or adjust the concentrated water valve to a certain extent, we can effectively adjust the system yield, water production flow and working pressure. When the valve opening is reduced, the general system recovery rate will increase, the working pressure will increase, and the permeate flow will increase; when the opening is increased, it is the opposite of when the opening is reduced;

5. Generally, ball valves are used in small ultra-pure water systems, needle valves are generally used in miniature pure water equipment, and gate valves and butterfly valves are used in large systems. When necessary, a bypass butterfly valve can be added on the side of the control gate valve. The butterfly valve can be opened quickly during system flushing for efficient flushing.
