Combine organic wastewater to understand laboratory organic wastewater treatment equipment

Release time:2020-10-28    Views:1998

        Laboratory organic wastewater treatment equipment is widely used in scientific research institutes, middle schools, universities, environment, quality inspection, drug supervision, entry-exit inspection and quarantine, electricity, disease control, animal husbandry, agricultural product inspection, medical care, blood stations, analysis and testing centers , petroleum and petrochemical, enterprises and other laboratory wastewater treatment. The water treated by laboratory organic wastewater treatment equipment is different from ordinary sewage. Let's take a look at organic wastewater from its source and water quality characteristics.

1. The source of organic wastewater:

Organic waste water generally refers to waste water above 2000mg/L discharged from the paper, leather and food industries. These wastewaters contain a large amount of carbohydrates, fats, proteins, cellulose and other organic substances, which will cause serious pollution if they are directly discharged. Organic wastewater can be divided into three categories according to its nature and source:

(1) Easy to biodegrade organic wastewater;

(2) Wastewater that can degrade organic matter but contains harmful substances;

(3) Refractory and harmful organic wastewater.

2. Water quality characteristics of organic wastewater:

1. High concentration of organic matter. COD is generally above 2000 mg/L, and some are even as high as tens of thousands or even hundreds of thousands of mg/L. Relatively speaking, BOD is low, and the ratio of BOD to COD in many wastewaters is less than 0.3.

2. The ingredients are complex. The organic compounds in the wastewater containing toxic substances are mainly aromatic compounds and heterocyclic compounds, and also contain sulfides, nitrogen compounds, heavy metals and toxic organic compounds.

3. High chroma and peculiar smell. Some wastewater emits a pungent stench, which adversely affects the surrounding environment.

4. It has strong acid and alkali. There are many acids and alkalis in the organic wastewater produced by industry, often with strong acid or strong alkali.

5. The organic pollutants contained in non-biodegradable organic wastewater are complex in structure. For example, the Cai ring is a delocalized conjugate bond composed of 10 carbon atoms, and the structure is quite stable and difficult to degrade. Most of these wastewaters have low BODSC/OD, poor biochemical properties, and are toxic to microorganisms, making it difficult to treat with general biochemical methods.
